| BluArc's Managed Voice Over Internet Protocol (M VOIP)
Redefining IP Service Delivery
Making a decision to deploy a new voice service technology can be a daunting task. In the world of voice it can be particularly challenging in that many new services being offered to business customers use the internet to transmit voice. One of the first questions that our customers ask us is, ‘is your technology voice over the internet’ Simply put no. BluArc is a pioneer in something we call Managed Voice Over Internet Protocol. What this means is that our customers are part of BluArc's private, fully managed network. Your voice never traverses the internet and once it reaches our switch located in a Bell facility, your voice is put on our partner Bell's network. MVOIP allows us to deliver voice and data services to you with the quality, security, and reliability of a traditional network but with the simplicity, feature richness, and cost effectiveness of new technology.
"We needed a reliable internet connection," explains Rod Paterson, Managing Director of Nexus Telecom ( Americas ) Inc. "Our previous DSL connection was terrible. It really didn't work. BluArc installed a T1 connection. The reliability is outstanding. We really enjoy the new features and functionality of the phone system, not to mention that we are now saving over 50% compared to what we were paying before for telecom services".
Quality
MVOIP provides unprecedented levels of voice quality and performance. Unlike traditional Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) solutions, MVOIP does not run over the internet, ensuring that customers and their staff hear crystal clear voice quality without the clicks, pops, gaps, echo, and dropped calls that are inherent in older technologies.
Usability
MVOIP is ideally suited for business users who are focused on growing their business rather than their IT operations. A well designed web-based interface allows administrators and users alike to easily configure the services they choose. This means less time and expense dedicated to user administration and more end user personalization of services, simply and easily.
Applications Future Proofing
Rich MVOIP applications are available now and new features are added regularly at no additional expense to our customers. In other words, maintenance and upgrades are included in the monthly fee. This ensures that customers ride the technology curve and avoid having to deal with the costs and headaches of upgrades.
Business Continuity
MVOIP is hosted in a telephone central office maintained by BluArc's business partner, Bell Canada. With redundant switching, power, and network infrastructures, MVOIP achieves greater reliability than existing services and helps customers maintain their operations in the event of unanticipated business interruptions.
Managed Service
MVOIP is a hosted and fully managed service meaning BluArc maintains the service end to end therefore customers do not have to. We eliminate the time and expense associated with telephony and data management enabling customers to focus on their core business.
Emergency Services
MVOIP offers Enhanced 911 (E911), the ability for 911 users to go directly to an emergency operator rather than through an intermediary service as required with traditional VOIP services. In the event of an emergency where the victim is unable to speak, E911 service ensures that emergency services have the correct location of where the call originated. This provides greater staff safety and security and reduced employer liability. |
